If you make a habit of playing flash games, you probably have a couple of different games that you go back and forth between all day. This is a good thing because you will never really get bored with what you have if you switch between games all day. But sometimes when you do that you end up losing all of your progress on the game that you were just currently working on. It is rare to lose progress on certain games because of an auto save feature that most of them have. But some games don’t come with that feature and once you leave the page or clean your computer your save is gone forever.
This can be extremely upsetting if you have spent a lot of time working on completing this game’s story. So to make sure that you stop losing your game progress, you need to find where and how you can save your flash games.
First thing’s first: Go to the game that you are currently in progress of beating and open it up. Look around the menu screen for any kind of save feature. If there isn’t one right out in the open, look inside of the options folder. If there is still nothing there, then you will probably have to download your game save to your computer so that you don’t lose your place again. Before you think this is too complicating, let me walk you through it.
Some games allow you to download your save straight from the game itself, so before you leave your next play through of your game look for the option to download your save slot. If that isn’t an option that is available there is another way to download the save.
All that you need to do is view page resources on your game. So go to your game and right click on the screen. Open up the page resources and click on the screen of your game, a url should come up. When it does you will want to open it in a new tab. This will automatically start a download of your save that you can then find in your computer’s download section.
